Viva Cinema, a new, original film series at the Bullock Museum, celebrates the modern cinema of Mexico and beyond. The Museum is proud to highlight acclaimed films in partnership with Cine Las Americas that feature the rich tradition of Spanish-language movie-making.
Jose learns that his ex-wife, Nora, has committed suicide. With Passover looming, her body must be buried immediately according to tradition or the family will be forced to wait five days. In the ensuing chaos, secrets are revealed and love comes to light in unexpected ways.
