Enjoy a FREE day full of discovery and learning at the Bullock Museum for homeschool families.

Event Details

Enjoy free admission all day and explore the T. rex: The Ultimate Predator exhibit and the Texas History Galleries. Participate in hands-on activity stations from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to celebrate Japan's National Foundation Day (February 11th) by exploring Japanese traditions, crafts, foods, art, and music.

Museum admission is free for homeschool families and RSVPs are not required. Discounted school group rates for films in the IMAX® Theatre and Texas Spirit Theater are available from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; film tickets may be purchased in advance online and at the Museum on Homeschool Day.

Available Classes

Hands-on classes give your students an opportunity to spend more time exploring topics that relate to the art and culture of the numerous communities and cultures in Texas.

Homeschool Day classes are free to attend and are available on a first-come first-served basis. The class is limited to 25 students. Accompanying adults are expected to stay with their students for the duration of the class. See class information below.
