Moo-ve on over to the Bullock for a “dairy” good time learning all about Texas dairy!
Event Details
Join us for this hands-on program incorporating movement, play, and tactile learning into engaging experiences where younger children (ages 2–5) discover something new alongside their caregivers.
Learn about the dairy industry in Texas and Gail Borden, early Texas settler and inventor of condensed milk. We'll look at different types of milk and learn why condensed milk was invented through sensory and craft activities. Afterwards, we'll take a trip to the second-floor Texas History Gallery to view the artifacts on display that tell Gail Borden's story.
This program is FREE for Members or with Museum admission.
