Event Details

Shadow puppetry, with its bold shapes, vivid colors, and dramatic movement, is a highly engaging art form that naturally lends itself to the Arts Integration approach to teaching and learning.

Daniel Barash, Director of The Shadow Puppet Workshop and Kennedy Center Teaching Artists, offers shadow puppetry professional development workshops for educators. Today’s workshop is in partnership with the Bullock Museum and MathHappens

This workshop is participatory, experiential, and fast-paced, and will include a balance of discussion and practice. Teachers will receive CPE certificates as well as detailed instructional packets upon completion, ensuring you have the resources to immediately start using shadow puppetry teaching strategies within your classroom.

The event is free of charge, and parking is complimentary in the Museum’s garage.
