How My Family Came to Texas
The Texas Story Project.
My mom lived in Mexico until my grandpa went to California and then to Texas.
He then decided to move my mom, my grandma and my moms siblings there. My mother was four years old when she came to Texas and moved here. My dad also lived in Mexico but he had family in Texas. When he went to visit them he met my mom and decided to move to Texas when he was 16, my mom was 14. My dad a few years later married my mom. They first moved to a apartment and lived there for a while, then they had a house built for them and that is the house I live in today. Now I live in Seagoville with my parents, my sister Elena, and my younger sister Julie. Living in Texas has connected me to it and I am fascinated by its interesting History.
