Discover interesting and often untold stories of Texas during High Noon Talks, our free classic lunchtime talk series.

From a home for prehistoric mammoths to an “Underground Nightclub,” the Longhorn Cavern State Park, located 60 miles northwest of Austin, has a storied past. Join State Park General Manager Jimmy Cruz for a presentation spanning thousands of years of Longhorn Cavern’s compelling history.

This program is free and open to the public. It will take place in the Texas Spirit Theater on the second floor of the Museum.
