Explore the world of trains this weekend at the Bullock Museum.

Event Details

Enjoy a Texas-size model train display and demonstration. Hear train whistles blow and axles grind as Tinplate Trackers of Austin's miniature locomotives chug along tiny rails set in intricate scenes. Children will be mesmerized by miniature-sized model train engines whirling around tracks laid out in the museum’s lobby. Adults may channel their inner engineers as they talk with model train enthusiasts and view expertly crafted model railroad scenes, including detailed cities and towns, rural landscapes, and a mini carnival.
