Join the Central Texas Mycological Society for this FUN(gi) hands-on workshop that combines mushrooms and art.
Event Details
Explore mushrooms with all of your senses (yes, even taste) during this hands-on workshop centered around fungal observation and illustration.
Activities:
- Observe mushrooms closely and learn to recognize the different parts of mushrooms and mycelium
- Sniff, taste, and make tea from a mushroom
- Learn basic 3D illustration techniques and see how your drawings improve as you get to know fungi in different ways
This program is geared toward adults and is not recommended for children under 13. Tickets are $10 for general admission and $8 for Museum Members. Not a Member? Join now.
