Event Details

Discover and create unique patterns as we celebrate American Indian Heritage through stories, art, and music. Listen as we read aloud Bowwow Powwow by Brenda Child and then explore Museum galleries searching for colorful patterns like the ones we see in the book. If you’re looking for more books connected to our theme, look no further than this list, specially curated by Austin Public Library.

Drop-in for this hands-on program incorporating movement, play, and tactile learning into engaging experiences where younger children (ages 2-5) can discover something new alongside their caregivers.

Program is FREE for members or with exhibition admission.
