Texas Artist Series: Los Texmaniacs

December 16, 2014 7:00pm - 9:00pm

Experience the rich diversity of Texas's cultural heritage. From world-renowned concert pianists to award-winning authors, cutting-edge filmmakers to dance troupes, this series explores the arts.

Enjoy a small venue concert with Los Texmaniacs, a group that mixes the best of Texas's musical heritage with a contemporary sound. Following the performance, hear from group members about what elements of Texas culture have most impacted their music.

Founded by Max Baca, a legend on the bajo sexto, the Grammy-winning Los Texmaniacs are a product of years of experience performing with groups as diverse as the Texas Tornadoes, Los Super Seven, and even the Rolling Stones.

This program is part of the Texas Art and Culture Series which is generously supported by Lone Star Beer—the National Beer of Texas.

This project is supported in part by a grant from the Texas Commission on the Arts.

This event is sold out. There will be a stand by line available which will be seated first come, first served as capacity allows.
