Program Details

The Museum is pleased to once again welcome James Dick, world-renowned concert pianist, for an evening performance in the Museum's Grand Lobby. For this performance, James Dick will be accompanied by Quaternaglia Guitar Quartet, recognized for its artistic excellence and for its significant contributions to the expansion of guitar quartet repertoire.

About the Performers

James Dick has performed in venues across the globe and maintains a busy schedule as a solo artist. His famous Round Top Festival Institute, now in its 44th year, welcomes Texans from across the state to a small town that has been known since its earliest days as a home for poets and musicians. The Institute celebrates Texas’s heritage and fosters young musical talent, benefitting Texans across the state.

Quaternaglia Guitar Quartet is composed of Brazilian guitarists Chrystian Dozza, Fabio Ramazzina, Thiago Abdalla, and Sidney Molina. The quartet has performed in fifteen American states, in countries like Portugal, Spain, Australia, Cuba, Uruguay, and Argentina, and in seventeen Brazilian states. Quaternaglia has also conducted Master Classes and lectures at various institutions including Yale University, the Jacobs School of Music (Indiana University at Bloomington), and the Coimbra Conservatory.

The Bullock Museum is owned and operated by the State of Texas through the State Preservation Board. Additional support of exhibitions and programs is provided by the Museum's nonprofit partner, the Texas State History Museum Foundation.
