Event Details
Enjoy FREE exhibition admission all day during H-E-B Free First Sundays, held the first Sunday of every month. Activities are from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Explore the Story of Texas through three floors of exhibitions that showcase and tell the history of artifacts from around the state.
Activities:
- Explore winter celebrations from around the world through craft and activity stations.
- 10:30 a.m. & 11:30 a.m. Learn about the principles and symbols of Kwanzaa through music, drumming, and storytelling with Elizabeth Kahura.
- Join our friends at Girlstart for interactive winter-themed STEM demos and activities for kids of all ages.
- Make a Los Posadas craft with the Emma S. Barrientos Mexican-American Heritage Center.
- Purchase tickets to enjoy a special multisensory screening of The Muppet Christmas Carol.
Family programs provide educational and engaging activities for young Texans and their caregivers. Events are designed to bring families together, spark conversations and provide opportunities for growth and development.
