In the near future, capital crimes are tried in the Mercy Capital Court, presided over by Judge Maddox (Rebecca Ferguson), an advanced A.I. program who stands as judge, jury, and executioner. Accused of murdering his wife, Detective Chris Raven (Chris Pratt) must now stand trial before the A.I. he helped create. Using the city’s vast surveillance network, Raven has 90 minutes to solve the crime and prove his innocence before Mercy determines his fate.
