Enjoy FREE exhibition admission all day during Free First Sundays, held the first Sunday of every month.

On Free First Sundays, visitors can explore The Story of Texas through three floors of exhibitions in the Texas History Galleries that showcase artifacts from around the state with free admission to Bullock Museum exhibitions.

Family Programming, 12-3 p.m.

Families can explore the vast world that lies underneath the surfaces of Texas's Gulf, rivers, and lakes with special Bullock Museum family programs from 12-3 p.m. that combine art creation, presentations by partner organizations, and gallery activities.

Special Exhibition Now On View

This month's Free First Sunday also features the special exhibition Tom Lea: Chronicler of 20th Century America, the most comprehensive exhibition of Texas artist Tom Lea's work to date. Take an in-depth look at a life and career that spanned the 20th century through illustrations, paintings, murals, and writings that uniquely emphasize Lea's contributions to American art, his inspirations, and often the people he knew and loved.
