Event Details

Join us after work every Third Thursday for special extended Museum hours from 5 to 7 p.m.! Explore the exhibitions, enjoy food and drinks in The Star Cafe, and connect to the story of Texas. Different activities are offered each month. Museum garage parking is free after 5 p.m.

Escape the ordinary and embark on a nostalgic journey back to the carefree days of summer camp, but this time with a twist! Our After Hours Summer Camp offers a unique opportunity for grown-ups to relive the magic with games, crafts, and music. 

All activities are included in the price of exhibition admission. Onsite exhibition admission ticket sales end at 6:50 p.m.

5 to 7 p.m.

  • Unleash your inner artist with a variety of creative workshops. From friendship bracelets to tie-dye, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
  • Get ready for friendly competition with classic camp games, relay races, and scavenger hunt. Bring your friends or connect with someone new as you test your camp skills.
  • Enjoy a grown-up campfire favorite with the featured S’mores cocktail from The Star Cafe.
  • Groove to the beat with our live DJ spinning retro tunes and remixes from EPIC Entertainment.
