Celebrate the day of the child through stories and art making with Mariposas Spanish School for Kids.
Program Details
Pop in online with your young Texans (ages 2-5) for Bullock Storytime.
Dive into stories, sing your favorite songs, and expand your imaginations through hands-on experiences designed especially for ages 2-5. Celebrate Día del Niño and learn how Mexico honors children each year on this day. Listen to a bilingual story about Día del Niño, practice Spanish with Mariposas Spanish School, and create colorful mini piñatas with supplies you can easily gather at home.
Program is FREE to the public and will be available post-livestream on the Bullock Museum YouTube channel.
Activity materials:
- Cardboard paper rolls (example: toilet paper or paper towel rolls)
- Tissue paper
- Scissors
- Glue or tape
- String
- Homemade confetti or candy
