Come and preview the IMAX® documentary film, Secrets of the Sea, which will be screening in 3D at the Bullock Museum for the upcoming school year. Secrets of the Sea takes you face-to-face with an astonishing array of surprising and spectacular marine critters, showing the fascinating ways they interact with each other and their environment. Filmed in locations all over the world, it reveals the many wonders and mysteries of our ocean world and demonstrates the critical importance of marine biodiversity to keeping our oceans healthy.
After the film screening, we will have lunch, discuss the curricular connections to the film's topics, and try out hands-on classroom activities. There will also be prize drawings and CPE certificates provided, SBEC approved. Plus, access to more ocean-related resources at the upcoming special exhibition Sharks sneak preview booth, where you can watch a virtual walkthrough and see photos of the exhibition and miniature shark models.
