Join us for a birthday party to celebrate the Museum’s namesake, Bob Bullock, with crafts, games, and FREE exhibit admission.
Event Details
Enjoy crafts, games, and activities as we pay homage to the influential Lieutenant Governor of Texas, Bob Bullock, who championed the Museum as a gift to all Texans and visitors to our state. Explore the Story of Texas through three floors of exhibitions that showcase and tell the history of artifacts from around the state. Activities are from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Activities:
- 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Get a balloon twisted in the shape of a favorite object or character and stop by the face painting station.
- Pick up a free cup of vanilla custard, Bob's favorite treat (while supplies last).
- Enjoy a storytime of Bob Bullock’s favorite children’s book, The Little Red Hen, followed by a craft.
- Explore game stations in the Museum lobby.
Family programs provide educational and engaging activities for young Texans and their caregivers. Programs are designed to bring families together, spark conversations and provide opportunities for growth and development.
