B-Movies & Bad History: Texas B's

Programs

November 4, 2014 7:00pm - 8:30pm

Watch some of the best (and worst) Texas-centric movies and television shows with historians, authors, and media experts as they expose the historical facts and fiction on-screen.

Texas has been the backdrop for some laughable sci-fi and horror B-movies, some of which launched the careers of Texas filmmakers. Join former Director of the Texas Film Commission, Tom Copeland, for a taste of these terrible Texas B's. Titles like The Killer Shrews, Keep My Grave Open and Don't Open the Door! will have you shrieking not with terror, but with laughter

This program is part of the Texas Art and Culture Series, which is generously supported by Lone Star Beer, the national beer of Texas.

Ticket prices are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors/military/students (with valid ID) and $9 for youths age 17 and under.
