Annual WeatherFest slated for Feb. 7

Meet meteorologists and enjoy free science and weather activities

JANUARY 22, 2016 (AUSTIN, TX) — Enjoy a day of science and fun for the whole family during WeatherFest 2016 on Sunday, Feb. 7 from 12 to 5 p.m. at the Bullock Texas State History Museum in downtown Austin.

During WeatherFest, a partnership between the museum and Time Warner Cable News Austin, admission to the museum is free all day from noon to 5 p.m. and there is no charge for fun, educational activities that take place until 3 p.m. Featuring hands-on science experiments by Girlstart, panel discussions, and family-friendly activities during the museum's Free First Sunday program.

Everyone can explore the Story of Texas through three floors of exhibitions that showcase artifacts from around the state. Plus, meet your favorite meteorologist!
