To mark its 15th anniversary, the Museum has published a book highlighting most significant artifacts spanning 4,000 years of Texas history.
Seeing Texas History: The Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum (UT Press: 2016), is a rich treasury of popular and important artifacts from some of the 50-plus special exhibitions that have been on view at the Museum over the last 15 years. Compiled and edited by Director Dr. Victoria Ramirez, the book inspired a search for the most rare, compelling, beautiful, and noteworthy artifacts that were both local and international, demonstrating Texas’ connections to the world.
