New look and fresh choices coming soon!
The cafe is closed and will reopen in fall 2016 as a newly designed space with a reinvented menu emphasizing fresh and flavorful ingredients.
You'll soon be able to savor new menu items like a daily farm-to-table salad bar, healthy vegetarian options, gourmet sandwiches crafted with specialty meats, cheeses, and artisan breads, plus breakfast pastries and desserts baked in-house by our pastry chef. Don't worry, fan favorites will return – the loaded baked potato (now jumbo!), house made soups, and black bean veggie or all-beef burgers, among others.
The popular Daily Special will offer a wider variety of local produce and lighter options. Look for the Chef's Weekly Special, focusing seasonal ingredients from farms around the state – Just Peachy Farm in Palestine, Markley Family Farm in New Braunfels, G&S Groves in McAllen, Rain Lily Farm in Austin, among others.
The popular Grab-and-Go menu is expanding. In addition to fruit salads, yogurt, and house-made hummus, healthy vegan wraps made with local vegetables, crudité, seasonal fruit-and-cheese plates, chef-inspired protein-packed snacks, and Daily Greens juices will also be offered.
