The Bullock Museum is pleased to host a symposium marking the 200th anniversary of Abner Cook’s birth. Cook, a noted 19th century architect, designed many of Austin’s noteworthy historic structures, including the Neill-Cochran House and the Texas Governor’s Mansion. When Modern Meant Classical is organized jointly by the Bullock Texas State History Museum, the Friends of the Governor’s Mansion, the Friends of the Neill-Cochran House Museum, and the Texas State Preservation Board.

Ticket prices are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors/military/students (with valid ID) and $9 for youths age 17 and under.
