Music Under the Star

Free summer concerts

Due to the impacts of construction related to the Capitol Complex Master Plan, the Museum’s Music Under the Star concert series is on a multi-year hiatus beginning with the 2018 season.

Once the fully pedestrianized green space from the Capitol to MLK is re-opened, the Museum is excited to be able to offer expanded programming that will provide new ways for Austin’s community to come together in a rejuvenated downtown space.

Please check out the new free summer series, Cool Summer Nights, that provides free evenings indoors during the summer months celebrating Texas culture, community, and history.
