Program Details

The Peterson Brothers Band have become a household name around the central Texas blues circuit. They have opened for the likes of Gary Clark Jr., Los Lonely Boys, the late B.B. King, Willie Nelson, and Lisa Marie Presley. They have also played with Buddy Guy, Michael Burks and many of Austin’s finest musicians.

While they have shared stages and opened shows for blues legends, they have also ventured outside blues standards creating a sound that is all their own. The future is bright for youngsters Glenn Peterson, Jr. and brother Alex and the years ahead look to be paved with success based on their commitment to their craft.

Don't miss this performance where The Peterson Brothers will share their songs and discuss the musicians and styles that have shaped their sound. See for yourself how the brothers fit into the long storied history of Texas blues by visiting the exhibition Pride & Joy: The Texas Blues of Stevie Ray Vaughn now on view at the Bullock Museum.

Enjoy small bites and cash bar at a welcome reception from 6:00 - 7:00pm and stick around for The Peterson Brothers from 7:00 - 8:30pm in the Texas Spirit Theater, a family friendly Austin music venue.

This concert is FREE and open to the public. Please note: RSVPs to this Texas Artist Series event are currently at capacity. There will be a standby line at the door and if space becomes available, guests in standby will be seated on a first come first served basis.
