Evenings Out: National Donut Day
June 7, 2019 6:00pm - 8:00pm
Commemorate the centennial of WWI with drinks and donuts.
Why donuts? During WWI volunteers from the Salvation Army became famous for serving donuts to American soldiers. In 1938, National Donut Day was created to honor the efforts of those volunteers. Join us this National Donut Day and celebrate the occasion with delicious treats from Gourdoughs Donuts, pub trivia from Who Wants a Dollar and tours of the exhibit WWI America, on view at the Museum. In between trivia rounds, players can enjoy complimentary food, drinks and tours.
The Bullock Museum is a division of the Texas State Preservation Board. Additional support of exhibitions and programs is provided by the Texas State History Museum Foundation.
