Programs

August 28, 2015 12:00pm - 1:00pm

With over 35 million records and 45,000 maps, the Texas General Land Office is a treasure-trove for historians, researchers, surveyors, genealogists and students. This collection documents the story of land ownership in the state, and is a great resource for anyone who wants to learn more about how historic Texans claimed, charted, and developed Texas cities and towns over the years. Join Research Room Leader, Kevin Klaus, for a look at the many resources available to the public and some tips on Texas stories that you can investigate at the GLO.
