This July, the Bullock Museum's free concert series, Music Under the Star, is presented in partnership with Fun Fun Fun Fest in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the popular Austin festival. For three Friday nights in July, the museum’s Lone Star Plaza will host these free shows from 6 to 9 p.m. Bring the whole family, your camp chairs and blankets and enjoy this special lineup of Texas artists.

Please note: Outside food and alcohol is not allowed per TABC regulations, but patrons can cool off with beer, soda, and food items for sale at the event.

The Octopus Project w/ Golden Dawn Arkestra

The Octopus Project is an American indietronica band based in Austin, Texas, and has been releasing party music since 2002. Touring the world with artists such as Aesop Rock, DEVO and Explosions in the Sky, the band also has performed at Coachella, Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits. The band is known for elaborate multimedia experiments, lavish album packaging and extremely fun, extremely loud live shows. The Octopus Project has released five full-length albums and they are composers for video games and film, garnering the Special Jury Award for Musical Score for their work on Kumiko, the Treasure Hunter at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival. Golden Dawn Arkestra will open at 6 p.m.
