High Noon Talk: Connecting Old and New Austin

Programs

April 6, 2016 12:00pm - 1:00pm

Michael Barnes, Austin American Statesman columnist, will share his unique perspective on the development of the city of Austin.

As Austin evolves and as new residents move to the area every day, it can be hard to recognize the city from one year to the next. Michael Barnes, columnist with the Austin American Statesman, has a unique perspective on the city and its development.

Join us for a discussion of the people, places, and history that he has explored in his columns and book, Indelible Austin. Through years of exploring Austin's history in print, Barnes has learned that even though the city has definitely changed, much about its culture remains the same.
