When you live in Texas, you might hear many different genres of music playing on the radio—including the blues! What is the blues, and how did this style come about? What instruments are used in the blues? How have Texan artists put a unique spin on the blues?

Program Details

Spring 2017 is all about music at the Bullock Museum, as we host two special exhibitions that celebrate music. Join us for this Spotlight Session to learn about the history and continuing importance of the blues in Texas and American culture. This program is sure to leave you dancing!

Offered FREE for all schools.
