The oceans during the late 1860-1890s are no longer safe. Many ships have been lost. Sailors have returned to port with stories of a vicious narwhal (a giant whale with a long horn) sinking their ships. Naturalist Professor Pierre Aronnax, his assistant, Conseil, and a professional whaler, Ned Land, join a U.S. expedition to help unravel the mystery.

All summer long, the Bullock Museum is presenting a bi-weekly Summer Free Family Series. These programs are free and open to the public. You will find some old favorites, and discover some soon to be. With titles from all over the globe, there is a bit of something for everyone.
