The Museum is offering extended hours and free admission to the Main Exhibits every Wednesday evening in March from 6-9 pm.

In addition to the free exhibits, visitors can enjoy free Accoustiguide audio tours (while supplies last) in both English and Spanish, a chance to "go behind the plexiglass" with the Explore the Story stations, and two guided tours each Wednesday night.

To celebrate the kickoff of Wells Fargo Late Nights, in addition to the extended hours and free exhibits, the Museum will offer $1 off any film in the IMAX® Theatre on the evenings of March 19 and 26!

Just as the free summer concert series Music Under the Star has offered thousands the chance to experience the Story of Texas for free, Wells Fargo Late Nights is another step in the ongoing effort to reach out to Texas residents who either cannot afford the educational opportunities the Museum offers or can't make it during regular hours.

As the state history museum for all Texans, the Museum believes that this effort is very important because of its unique capability to present historic treasures from around the state and its wealth of educational resources. These benefits have the capacity to make history come alive for individuals and increase their chances of academic success.
