Just a Little Bit Crazy posterJust a Little Bit Crazy only begins to describe what happens in Taylor, Texas, at the annual National Rattlesnake Sacking Championship and Arts & Crafts Show.

Austin-based director Will Dotter takes a look at this annual "it could only happen in Texas" sporting event. To win the championship title, two-man rattlesnake sacking teams must compete to get ten rattlesnakes into a burlap sack in the shortest time possible. These diamondback rattlesnakes all have their fangs and venom sacks, so handling them is not for the faint of heart and getting bit is inevitable (there is a five-second penalty for being bit).

Dotter interviews both competitors and the reptile enthusiasts rooting for them. Guinness World Record holder and snake sacking champions Jackie and Ken have been the team to beat for over a decade, but the mother/ son team of Bobby and Betty are poised to strike, angling for the title they feel they have been cheated out of for years. In the dangerous and exciting world of rattlesnake sacking, things are bound to get just a little bit crazy.
