IMAX Theatre Accessibility

In keeping with the Museum's approach to accessibility as a core value, the IMAX® Theatre has many accessibility features, including assistive listening devices for the hard-of-hearing and RearWindow captioning and Audio Description for the visually impaired (as available). Please see our Accessibility page for more information on accessibility and procedures throughout the Museum.

Accessibility features vary from film to film. Call our Reservations Department at (512) 936-4649 to find out about captioning and audio description for IMAX Theatre films, or check with your theater host prior to showtime. Groups wanting to use either technology should indicate such when making a reservation and should specify how many persons will need the equipment.
