Skiing and snowboarding perilous untouched mountain peaks; climbing vertical frozen waterfalls and magnificent red-rock spires; surfing some of the largest waves ever attempted; and windsurfing in El Niño-strength winds, EXTREME takes audiences to the action of outdoor adventure sports like never before.

EXTREME combines incredible extreme sport action with narration from the athletes and an eclectic, contemporary soundtrack as it explores the paradox of human nature: facing fear from the edge of life.

This thrilling film brings all the danger and daring of extreme sports to life on the giant screen, giving audiences a glimpse into the passion and motivation of these amazing athletes.

EXTREME captures a dazzling array of breathtaking images: a lone skier tempts fate on the vertical slopes of a snow-covered mountain top; an expert surfer struggles to stay in front of an enormous emerald green wave that towers dangerously above him; a mountain climber clutches to a sheer cliff face, dangling hundreds of feet above the ground.

Ticket prices for EXTREME are $7 for adults, $6 for seniors/military/students (with college ID) and $5 for youths age 18 and under. The IMAX Theatre is located in the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum at 1800 N. Congress Avenue at the corner of Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd.
