Texans have a great history of volunteerism. The Museum needs volunteers to help in a number of areas, all of which help tell The Story of Texas.

There are several different volunteer opportunities at the Museum which may spark your interest. The Museum is open 7 days per week and is flexible with volunteer schedules. To become a Museum volunteer simply submit a volunteer application and attend a new volunteer orientation session. Find out how to become a volunteer...

 

A docent tour led by SuzyThe Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum offers many benefits for its volunteers, including free exhibit admission, free parking and Museum membership. In addition volunteers receive special sneak previews of temporary exhibits, educational programs and some IMAX films. The Museum also hosts winter and spring recognition parties for volunteers and provides continuing education and enrichment sessions. Learn more about volunteer benefits...
