Become a volunteer and take your place in the Story of Texas!

Texans have a great history of volunteerism. The Museum needs volunteers to help in a number of areas, all of which help tell The Story of Texas.

There are several different volunteer opportunities at the Museum which may spark your interest. The Museum is open 7 days per week and is flexible with volunteer schedules. The Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum offers many benefits for its volunteers, including free exhibit admission, free parking and Museum membership. In addition volunteers receive special sneak previews of temporary exhibits, educational programs and some IMAX films.
