Why Should I Support the Museum?
The Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum provides exceptional educational opportunities for the children of Texas and the more than 500,000 visitors who each year come to the Museum to enjoy its dynamic exhibits and award-winning programming. The Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum is the only state history museum in the country that does not receive a direct state appropriation for its operations, so your support and the support of Texans from around the state is vital to the Museum’s continuing excellence.
The Texas State History Museum Foundation was founded in 1999 as a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization that raises private funds to support the Museum. By making a donation through the Foundation, you are able to support the Museum while also receiving tax benefits for your charitable contribution.

Your contribution will also provide a deduction for estate tax purposes. Please discuss this option with your attorney or estate planner.
Designate Your Contribution for the Endowment
When a gift is given to the Texas State History Museum Foundation endowment, the principal of the gift is not spent, but instead the income generated from the gift is used. In this way, your one time gift can continue to contribute to the Museum year after year.
Please contact Denise Bradley, Executive Director of the Foundation, at 512-320-8204 or email with any questions regarding charitable contributions, and thank you for your support of the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum!
