Where will your imagination take you? Join us for Family Story Time on the first Saturday of each month, and on the third Tuesday of each month, 2-5 year olds will enjoy a Story Time that is geared just for them with hands-on activities, stories, songs, games, and more!

TEXplorations Puppet Show: Little Peep

Austin Public Library is back at the Museum for more puppet fun! Literature Live! presents Little Peep. In this adaptation Jack Kent's heartwarming story, the barnyard animals are convinced that the bossy rooster's crow causes the sun to rise each morning. Little Peep, despite warnings not to annoy the rooster, tries to bring up the sun on his own. Come and find out if the sun will rise without the rooster's crow. This event is recommended for ages 4 and over.
TEXplorations Puppet Show: Rumpelstiltskin

Austin Public Library is back at the Museum for more puppet fun! Literature Live! presents Rumpelstiltskin. Once upon a time a miller's daughter was given an impossible task by a greedy king. She had to spin straw into gold. Who should show up to help her but an odd little man named Rumpelstiltskin. Find out if his intentions are gallant or greedy and why his name is critical to the outcome of the story. The puppet show is recommended for ages 5 and up.

Austin Public Library is back at the Museum for more puppet fun! Literature Live! presents Beauty and the Beast. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and eyes often see through the heart. Enter a world of enchantment and walk with Beauty as she reveals the true nature of love. This event is recommended for ages 5 and up.
