NEW! TEXpeditions - to the MAX!

Tuesday - Friday, 8:30 am - 12:30 pm
- Younger visitors are invited to join the TEXpeditions team for a half-day museum adventure related to films showing in the IMAX® Theatre. Each session includes admission to the IMAX Theatre, a mid-morning snack, and activities and games related to the film. Click here for more information.
TEXpeditions SUMMER CAMP 2008 - from Tall Tales to TV
July 7 - August 1, 2008
Monday - Friday, 9 am - 4 pm
- Encounter Texas heroes and legends in this five-day history adventure while exploring three floors of interactive exhibits. Celebrate their stories in the Star of Destiny special presentation and in the IMAX® Theatre. Discover how these stories are created and shared through a variety of media, and add your own saga to the Story of Texas! Click here for more information.
- Learning the Story of Texas at the Museum is now available to all Texas teachers and students across the State even if they are not able to physically visit the Museum in Austin. Through engaging activities and accompanying online educational resources, the Story of Texas will come alive in classrooms statewide.
