Lowriding Legacies in Texas

On view May 11 to September 2, 2024

Inside the Exhibition

The exhibit introduces visitors to the rich culture of Texas lowriding through a display of seven lowrider cars, five bicycles and artifacts from music, fashion and lowrider history. Visitors can explore the characteristics of a lowrider with interactive displays, meet members of the Texas lowriding community through first-person interviews, and take a picture with a custom exhibit photo backdrop. The exhibition also features music popular in the lowriding community and visitors can take the soundtrack home with them through a Spotify playlist
